Start About the company Software products Add-ons ServicesAdd-ons
Sunstone has developed a number of add-ons for use with the basic products which we sell (Livelink
Discovery Server and Cumulus).
Single Sign-On for Cumulus web solutions
By utilizing this module from Sunstone Systems, end users can start the Cumulus web interface, either Internet Client Pro (ICP) or Web Publisher Pro (WPP), without having to explicitly enter their user name and password to log in to Cumulus. This is achieved by utilizing the login which the users make prior to starting ICP/WPP, e.g. to a Windows domain or to an intranet or extranet.
The module consists of two software components, one for installation with the Cumulus Server and one for installation with the application server running the Cumulus web solution. It also requires a couple of simple modifications of the web application. Please refer to the information sheet, linked below, for more information.
Information
sheet for the Single Sign-On module
The system environment as a whole determines whether the module's approach to Single Sign-On will be applicable in a given situation. This is described in the information sheet, but do not hesitate to contact Sunstone if you need any help in verifying this or in deploying the module.
You can get a demo version of the module to test it together with your system. It will allow a limited number of user logins to the Cumulus Server and then refuse all subsequent logins. A restart of the Cumulus Server will reset the module's login counter, making the demo version suitable for test purposes but not day-to-day operations.
Please contact Sunstone to get a demo version of the module or to purchase a production version.
