Livelink Discovery Server (LLDS) is a proven, very stable and powerful product for indexing huge amounts of text-based information and providing full free-text searching functionality. Sunstone has developed a large number of search systems based on LLDS and also specialized applications for records and document management as well as archiving.
LLDS was previously marketed as BRS/Search. It is one of the premier search engines on the market and is owned and developed by Open Text in Canada. Sunstone has been a reseller of LLDS since 1994 and is responsible for marketing and sales and well as services like development and integration, support and training. The current version of LLDS is 10.0.
Cumulus, from the German company Canto, is one of the world's premier digital asset management (DAM) systems. It can be used as an archive, as a key component of a production system and as a distribution system, all at the same time. The typical customer will use Cumulus to manage image files, but the product handles all sorts of digital information, with a number of specialized functions for common assets like PDF files, PowerPoint presentations, InDesign or QuarkExpress layouts, video media, etc. Cumulus will help you organize, find and deliver assets in an efficient way, saving you time and effort as well as increasing the return on your investment in digital assets.
Cumulus has a client/server architecture and offers a number of different user interfaces, including web solutions. The system is highly configurable and has been designed to allow customers and Canto partners to develop plug-ins with a standardized and documented API and method of deployment. The individual customer can tailor the system to their needs in a myriad of ways, including setting user permissions, designing metadata records and specifying image conversion alternatives.
The modular design of the product offers the customer a way of purchasing a DAM solution with great functionality at a very reasonable price. You can start out with a solution for a few users and general DAM functionality and add users and more specialized functions when the system is established within the organization and the interest to do even more with your assets is rising.

We offer our customers support as well as adapting and developing their Cumulus systems, backed by full access to second line product supprt as well as developer support at Canto.
